AO3 Tag Blocker CSS Generator

Enter tags to block in two separate groups below. Free-form, Characters and Archive Warnings tags will block any work containing those tags, while Pairings will block specific character relationship tags. The tool will generate CSS code for AO3 site skin.

How to Use This CSS in Your AO3 Site Skin:

  1. Log in to your Archive of Our Own (AO3) account.
  2. Go to your Dashboard
  3. In the sidebar, under "Preferences", click on "Skins".
  4. Click the button Create Site Skin
  5. Give your skin a title (e.g., "Blocked Tags").
  6. In the large "CSS" text area, paste the CSS code that was generated by this tool.
  7. Scroll down and click Create
  8. Go back to your Dashboard
  9. In the "Skins" section, under "Site Skin", select the name of the skin you just created from the dropdown menu.
  10. Scroll down and click Save Changes.

Free-form,Characters, and Archive Warnings tags hide works where the tag appears in the blurb. Pairing tags target specific relationship tags in the format Character A/Character B. At the moment this doesn’t do it for ratings or categories but I am working on it
